The Ranauraa Inn is a lovely property, only 45 minutes by speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE), offering spacious rooms on a Bed & Breakfast (BB), Half Board (HB), Full Board (FB) or All Inclusive (AI) basis, over one level. are accessed directly from the reception & lounging area.
All the rooms have guest controlled air conditioning, ensuite comprising a shower, toilet & sink. Rooms also come with complimentary towels, hair & body wash, beach towels, tea & coffee facilities including daily replenished condiments, daily replenished bottled water, satellite TV & WiFi, Safe, and are cleaned every day, especially de-sandpapering the bed :).
As the boat bringing you to Dhiffushi glides into the harbour the staff can be seen awaiting your arrival. They'll take care of your luggage for you and escort you to the property & when you sadly have to depart they will ensure you & your luggage is safely aboard.
PROPERTY INFORMATION
As briefly mentioned above, the ground floor is comprises the reception and lounging area. Guests can take advantage of the communal Satellite TV, complimentary games & books, snorkelling equipment, WiFi, shower to rinse yourself off, as well as enjoy a variety of snacks & beverages and meals served throughout the day from their Café Bistro to the rear of the property.
The atmosphere is relaxed with the guests & staff often spending time to get to know each other, chatting, enjoying a devious game of Uno, or arranging to enjoy an excursion together, taking advantage of reduced group rates.
Talking of excursions, They, like all the properties on the island offer the same excursions and water sports. Either using their own staff & equipment or booking with a fellow islander on your behalf.
The rates for these tend to be the same, regardless of who you book with. It's a small island where everyone works together. Having said this, depending on how many excursions and or water sports you want to do during your stay, there's always room for negotiation while on the island or a package can be added to your booking prior to arrival,
The nearest beach is only 238 meters away, and happens to be the islands most popular, where you can glide into the warm crystal clear waters or take time out under the complimentary parasols & loungers. The staff are happy to bring your food & beverages down there for you.
758 meters is Sunset Beach and the 3rd beach is 338 meters walk. As you can probably guess from the distances to the various beaches, it takes no more than 10/15 minutes to stroll from one end to the other, so you are never more than a few minutes from anything the island has to offer.
