Veli Vilaa is a lovely property, only 45 minutes by speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE), offering an entire villa with spacious rooms over two levels, just a short walk from the islands most popular beach on a Bed & Breakfast (BB) basis with additional meals provided by their catering partner Araamu Holidays & Spa which can be delivered or you can dine at Araamu with the meals added to your villa tab.
All the rooms have guest controlled air conditioning, ensuite comprising a shower with a toilet & sink. Rooms also come with complimentary towels, hair & body wash, beach towels, tea & coffee facilities including daily replenished condiments, daily replenished bottled water, satellite TV & WiFi, Safe, and are cleaned every day, especially de-sandpapering the bed :).
As the boat bringing you to Dhiffushi glides into the harbour the staff can be seen awaiting your arrival. They'll take care of your luggage for you and escort you to the property & when you sadly have to depart they will ensure you & your luggage is safely aboard.

The ground floor is open plan, comprising a myriad of enclosed and open area lounging areas & an undercover dining area. Guests can also take advantage of their communal Satellite TV, complimentary games & books, non-motorised water sports, WiFi, shower to rinse yourself off, as well as enjoy a variety of snacks & beverages and meals served throughout the day.
The property has its own beach area, right outside the rear entrance of the property, where you can glide into the warm crystal clear waters, take advantage of their complimentary non-motorised water sports, dine under the palms or take time out under the complimentary parasols & loungers. The staff are happy to bring your food & beverages out there for you.
The staff are on site 24/7 and are there solely to help you get the most out of your stay. Whether it's a quick snack any time of the day or night, a tour around the island or the desire to enjoy one or more of the many water sports or excursions, they are there for you.
Veli Vilaa provide kayaking and snorkelling equipment free to their guests. They have their own jet ski which can be used for $35 per 30 minutes and can provide a sandbank excursion for $43.05 per person.
When it comes to water sports & excursions on the island, the rates for these tend to be the same, regardless of who you book with. It's a small island where everyone works together. Having said this, depending on how many excursions and or water sports you want to do during your stay, there's always room for negotiation while on the island or a package can be added to your booking prior to arrival.
They can also provide a cinematic experience with a large outdoor screen as well also being able to provide marquees for parties or even as part of their wedding package.
The property is only 330 meters from Sunset Beach, 590 meters from the most popular beach & 200 meters from the 3rd beach. As you can probably guess from the distances to the various beaches, it takes no more than 10/15 minutes to stroll from one end to the other, so you are never more than a few minutes from anything the island has to offer.
